How to Care for your Plant

Succulents are easy to care for. Many can live in or outdoors in our north Florida climate. If kept indoors, they usually like a bright area which gets a few hours of sunshine although some prefer indirect light or shade. Water once or twice weekly. Use rainwater or non-chlorinated water especially for terrariums without drainage*. Control amount of water when watering these terrariums. Using a spray bottle can help control and direct water to the roots. Your plant will benefit from succulent or slow release fertilizer Succulents do need light and water but are drought tolerant, hardy plants. The thicker the leaves are, the more drought tolerant they are. The Florida summer sunshine will burn most, so provide shade and water in the summer if the plants are kept outside. 😊
